How We Score Casino Bonuses

Every bonus on CasinoBonuses.io gets a Claim Ease Score from 0 to 100 and a letter grade. The score answers one question: how easy is it for a normal player to actually receive this bonus and convert it into withdrawable cash?

The score is deterministic. It is computed from facts extracted from the official bonus terms, using the fixed weights below. No editor adjusts it by hand and no casino can pay to change it.

The components and weights

  • Wagering burden (32 points). The wagering multiplier, adjusted for what it applies to. A 15x requirement on the bonus alone is a very different demand than 15x on deposit plus bonus, so deposit-plus-bonus requirements are weighted 1.8 times heavier.
  • Game weighting (14 points). A bonus where slots count 100 percent and table games contribute something real scores higher than one where everything except slots counts 10 percent or nothing.
  • Playthrough window (12 points). How long you get to complete the wagering. Ninety days is comfortable. Seven days on a large bonus is a clause designed to run out the clock.
  • Maximum bet rule (10 points). Low max-bet caps slow down clearing and are the most common reason winnings get voided.
  • Maximum cashout (10 points). Any ceiling on what you can withdraw from bonus winnings costs points, scaled by how tight the cap is.
  • Funds model (10 points). Wager-free bonuses score best, then cashable bonuses. Sticky and phantom bonuses, where the bonus amount is deducted at withdrawal or can never be withdrawn, score worst.
  • Payment method exclusions (6 points). If depositing with common e-wallets disqualifies you from the bonus, points come off.
  • Claim friction (6 points). Automatic crediting beats opt-in checkboxes, bonus codes and offers you have to contact support to receive.

Hidden clause penalties

On top of the component scores, every flagged hidden clause subtracts points: 4 for a high-severity clause, 2 for a medium one, capped at 12 points total. High severity means a clause that can realistically cost you your winnings, such as a voiding rule buried in general terms.

Grades

A+ is 90 or above, A is 80 to 89, B is 68 to 79, C is 55 to 67, D is 40 to 54, and anything below 40 is an F.

When data is missing

If the terms do not state a value, we score that component as neutral and mark the field as unverified on the bonus card. We would rather show you an honest gap than a fake number.
